Christmas Day Swim, Crooklets Beach, Bude 2011 in aid of Bude Surf Life Saving Club

The traditional Christmas Day Swim took place on Crooklets Beach, Bude with hundreds of people taking to the water and lots more standing by with towels and hot drinks to warm up the swimmers when they came back from their dip. This annual event is a fundraiser for Bude Surf Life Saving Club, founded in 1953, and it seems that the 2011 swim had the highest number of swimmers and spectators ever.
